Storytelling Art

Hayley loves art and tattoos that tell a story and elicit emotions. She is inspired by folk art, fables, and nature. In her everyday life, she is captivated by little details. She sees personality in a single acorn or feather, the funny faces in tree bark, or the expressions of animals. Even dark emotions can have characterization and beauty. Hayley’s style evolves as she becomes inspired by new places or artists, but its roots remain in storytelling.

What makes Hayley different?

Authenticity and Detail

Getting tattoos can be costly, time consuming, and of course, painful. Hayley recommends that you choose an artist who will be excited about your ideas, and take the time to create a piece of artwork unique to you that truly reflects your passion and ideas. When designing a custom piece she researches the subject matter to be as well versed as possible, and brings meaningful, fun details to the design.

Craftsmanship and Dedication

When possible, Hayley prefers to create tattoos from pencil and paper drawings. Hand sketching and hand drawing pieces ensures that they are one of a kind pieces of art that truly reflect her artistic viewpoint. In a world of shortcuts and AI, Hayley deeply values human art and creativity and is always seeking to refine and practice fundamentals such as anatomy, light source, contrast, and composition.

Composition and Body Flow

Hayley values both the composition of the piece, and its placement and flow on the body. She understands that every body is unique, and prefers to take time and care when stenciling the design on the client. She loves to experiment with hand-drawing elements on the body, and would love to do larger organic pieces that flow and wrap with your body, perfectly tailored to you.
